「Alright! Shuu, it’s an escort request!」

「Sorry, Shuu, can you help us with it?

While I was struggling to make the magic tools, Cruz-kun and Ilya-chan asked me to go with them as they had taken on an escort request from the guild.

「Can we do it together?」

「Ou, I properly confirmed it.」

「The client too, they’re a merchant that we’re acquainted with, so it’s fine.」

When I asked for more details, it seemed that the client was just like the merchant who we escorted last time, someone who we were acquainted with from a trip and they heard about us from the previous merchant, so they designated us. However, though I said that, in terms of rank, they were yet unable to take on a designated request, but luckily, they were able to meet them at the guild, so it seems that they could take it.

It seems that the first merchant had advertised us, and according to the merchant who requested us this time, they said that perhaps we would get requests from other merchants as well. After all, it’s good for peddlers and small shops to be able to hire fairly skilled adventurers & familiars with two people’s, no, a small retaining fee. For us, it helped that we could go together.

「It’s been a while since I was able to go crazy.」

During our escort, we were attacked by bandits. No, we attacked them? As the merchant’s horse carriage and our wolf cart advanced, Queen noticed something, and Cruz-kun and the familiars went somewhere. A little while later, Cruz-kun and the others returned, dragging over ten people who had been tied up. It seems that they found the bandits and initiated the attack. This time, the escort trip was different from usual. Abandoning the escort client was out of the question. Right now, Cruz-kun and the others were being scolded harshly by Ilya-chan.

Leaving aside Cruz-kun, it was rare for Queen to make such a mistake, so when I asked her for the reason, it seemed that the recent trips had been too peaceful, so she was just full of vigor. As expected, there might’ve been not enough excitement recently, so should I ask Ojii-san so that we could go on an adventure deep into the forest again?

「「We’re very sorry!」」

When Ilya-chan’s preaching was over, the two people apologized to the merchant. The merchant was not injured, so they forgave them, but we needed to be careful in the future. And, the bandits would be handed over to the government official in the next town, and it was decided that the reward would be split in half. We didn’t have enough manpower to attack the hideout, and it seems that they’ve only recently arrived, so they probably hadn’t accumulated much treasure, so let’s head to the next town.

「You’ve been a great help. I’ll request for you again.」

We arrived at the harbor city and the escort request came to an end. If the timing of our return was the same, then we might take on the request, but I wonder if that would be the case?

Arriving at the harbor city orphanage, the adventurer group invited us to take on a request together, so Cruz-kun and Ilya-chan departed.

It seems that my younger sister and the others will go to the sea to play and we were with Obaa-san today, so perhaps we could expect to taste new seafood dishes.

Having nothing to do, I checked on the magic tools. I installed the new boiling water magic tool in the bath and the kitchen and explained how to use it to everyone. Just in case, I remodeled the bathroom a little by making it possible to use ice water with magic tools, so let’s check the ease of use next time.

Cruz-kun and others departed for the request, so since we had to stay here for a few days again, I considered making new magic tools while eating Obaa-san’s seafood cuisine.
