After coming back from the harbor city, we were mobbed by the children from the orphanage. Unfortunately, there were no escort requests going from the harbor city to Frey Town, so we were able to arrive more quickly than when we went there. It seems that both Director-sensei and Char-chan felt relieved after they saw us back and at night, we had a party using the fresh seafood that we had stocked up.

「Then, we will go to the forest!」

The next day, Cruz-kun took Ilya-chan, Queen, and the others with him to Dragon Forest. There was no request this time, but even though people would basically take a break after working for several days, they didn’t do much on this trip, so their bodies were growing sluggish. Maa, they said that they were going to complete the harvesting and subjugation requests, so they probably wouldn’t go too deep into the forest.

「Onii-chan, I’m going too! Sakuya-chan, let’s go!」

My younger sister and the others were going to help out at the farm, or rather, they were going there to play. Left behind, I headed over to process the trees that the adventurer group had cut down.

As usual, the trees were piled up into a mountain, but it would be better to make a portion that would dry naturally so that it would be alright even if I wasn’t here.

I suddenly thought of this as I let the trees dry. Currently, there was a demand for lumber, so it’s fine, but after things calmed down, what should we do?

Previously, we would go harvesting for food and hunting for meat, but right now, the adventurer groups had increased and there was no longer any need for me to go.

Even for business, the merchant group and the productions group were doing their best, so there was a decent amount of profit. Specifically, if someone wanted to open a store in a town somewhere, they would be able to help…. Maa, all the children at the orphanage work there, so they’re not on their own.

Also, the『Item Box』was convenient when I’m there, but the problem was the meat and seafood that were perishable, but other than that, we could use magic bags instead.

And so, should I start preparing for when I become an adventurer…?

Ah, come to think of it, there were more and more adventurers, merchants, and manufacturers, so I had been told that they wanted me to make magic tools. Somehow, I was the only one who could make the magic tools well. I see, it might be good to train to be an adventurer while making the magic tools.

Perhaps it was because the number of trips had increased, as the water magic tools and magic bags seemed insufficient. Other than that, I wanted to make some other useful magic tools as well.

That day, I finished dehydrating the lumber in one day. The next day, I immediately began making magic tools. It’s been a while since I worked on it, so I tried making the fire magic tool, the water magic tool, and the magic bag as review.

Although it had been a while, my body had unexpectedly remembered how to make them and I was able to do so without any issues. Would these sell well as well? Were magic tools under the jurisdiction of the Commerce Guild? Was there something like an Alchemy Guild? Maa, let’s try asking the merchant group later.

Next, I’ll try making a magic tool that would produce hot water. If we had this, baths, showers, and kitchen work in the winter would be easy.

Cruz-kun and the others were harvesting and hunting in Dragon Forest for training as adventurers while I was making hot water magic tools, but it’s difficult! Producing water was easy, but I was unable to regulate the temperature. Neither cold nor hot water came out. What was being produced was lukewarm water. It was like that even when I used magic, so perhaps this was just how it was.

In the end, what I was able to make was a magic tool that produced boiling water. However, boiling water was also troublesome and you could just let it cool, but everyone was happy with this, so what should I make next?
