Putting it simply, it seems that he wanted to keep the honey to make alcohol. In addition, it seems that he was also keeping it a secret from Obaa-san, which was embarrassing.

「Then, why don’t we pretend that Ojii-san built this for Sakuya-chan.」

It was the so-called surprise. Previously, Ojii-san took a lot of honey, so my younger sister, Sakuya-chan, and the children at the orphanage were disappointed that they didn’t get any, so they would definitely be delighted by this.

My younger sister and the others imagined a happy Sakuya-chan and everyone was eager to surprise her.

Several days later, everyone brought Sakuya-chan to the new flower field, and she was happy with the honey and the new flower field, so it was a happy day.

Obaa-san seemed to have noticed that he had kept the new flower field a secret, but he seemed to have managed to avoid being scolded because he had made Sakuya-chan happy.

As for the honey, there were now two flower fields, so the amount that could be collected had increased, and both Ojii-san and the children were very satisfied.

…however, had Ojii-san forgotten? Even if he took more honey, there was a limit to how much he could make, so he wouldn’t be able to make it…

After a long while, we came to the other side of Dragon King Mountain today. After discussing with Ojii-san about what happened on the trip, he agreed to help me catch horses. The location was the usual meadow where a lot of herbivore-type monsters lived.

「Woo」「Woof」「Woof」

Comparatively, there were a lot of quiet monsters, so Cruz-kun, my younger sister, and the wolf cubs were energetically running around. The objective this time were the Steppe Horses, so even if we found Milhorns and Big Kokkos, we will ignore them. Or rather, if their numbers increased any more, the farm would be in trouble. We could also take them to the cheese village as a souvenir, but in that case, it would be better to catch them just before going there.

And so, everyone was running around looking for the Steppe Horses. Around here, the strongest one was the Fighting Bull, so they found one, then they would lead it here and we would defeat it together. Since their meat was delicious. 

Incidentally, Queen was training the children from the harbor city and the newly-added wolves, so she wasn’t able to come. Queen would probably want to run around as well, so I wanted to bring her next time.
