A month after that, the Dragon Forest market became the Dragon Forest Village. Having realized that we had almost never been attacked by monsters, large businesses set up shops here as well. They did not use tents or horse carriages as they called the carpenters, built a cabin, and started doing business.

The Commerce Guild and the Adventurer Guild cooperated to construct buildings and the process was simple. The new adventurers were happy with this. For the veterans, there were no benefits to this, but from the perspective of information gathering, it was good that they did this.

The large business and guilds set up branch stores and took the initiative to reach out. Although I said that we hadn’t been attacked by monsters before, we were right next to Dragon Forest, so it would not be strange for us to be attacked at any time. Aah, if a newbie became the representative, the large businesses would put pressure on them and if someone from the large businesses did it, then the newbies would be unhappy, wondering why they were chosen even though they came after them, or something like that? 「Also, it’s embarrassing to say this, but they have high hopes for your familiars.」

Certainly, the wolves had started taking turns to keep guard before anyone realized it. Occasionally, they would bring back prey that they caught, surprising the nearby people, so there were several awkward situations where we were apologizing to people. They saw that and wanted to borrow my familiars’ strength to add to the defense strength. Since asking the adventurers for help would cost money…. 「Of course, we will make sure that you wouldn’t need to take any responsibility if something happens. How about it?」
