KT Chapter 234

Happy Wednesday!

This will be the last chapter for November as I will be taking a short break to recharge and hopefully translate enough chapters to have a stockpile. I will be back around the middle of December, though I’m not sure the exactly date. I take a break around this time every year, so those who have been with me for a while know this, but for those who are new, I always post extra chapters as a Christmas present for you when I do get back, so do look forward to that.

In addition, I have started to write a novel on Wattpad. I haven’t written something in a long time and this is my first time writing my own story and posting it online, but it’s essentially about a boy who goes to play an RPG  game in order to earn money to pay for his sick mother’s hospital bills. There will be magic, swords, monsters, dragons, etc., so if you like that type of thing, feel free to go take a look here. I will be working on this while on my break and it should be a weekly release. If there’s anything I can improve on, do give me some constructive criticism. And to thank you guys for your support, if there is more than 10K views, 100 followers, and 500 votes (you can click the star on the upper right hand corner or where you post a comment on the bottom) on my novel, A Break From Reality, then I will double the extra chapters for Christmas. There should be two chapters, the prelude and chapter 1, already uploaded by the time this post is released and the next chapter should be posted next week, but yeah, if you’d like, you can go read it and give me your feedback. Thanks in advance!!

Anyways, I will see you all back here soon and though it is early, I hope everyone will have a great Thanksgiving and stay safe until I see you next. Without further ado, here’s the chapter, I do hope you enjoy.

「There’s some sort of strange smell.」

「Hehe, that’s the smell of the sea!」

Departing from the hidden village, we went directly to the harbor city. Previously, we headed towards the imperial capital, but that place was difficult for my younger sister and Ilya-chan to spend time in, so we did not stop by. Thanks to the wolves, we were also able to arrive at the harbor city earlier than expected.

Approaching the harbor city, there was the smell of the sea, but for those who had not been here before, they were bewildered by this smell. In response, Cruz-kun explained it to them, brimming with confidence.

「Is it alright to keep going and go into town?」

Having been asked that by the child from the merchant group who was the driver, I asked them to head towards the sandy beach that was far from the town. The children who came to the harbor city seemed disappointed, but they would be living here in the future, so let’s endure it for now.

Mya~」「「Mya~」」

Pyui~!

As the wolf carts approached the beach, the Seacats came over from the sea. Seeing that, Pii-chan flew out from the wolf cart. And immediately fought with them.

「Oi! There are monsters!」

Quickly saying this, the adventurer group got ready for battle.

「Aah, it’s fine.」

「Pii-chan, do your best–!」

「Do your best….」

Cruz-kun stopped the adventurer group and my younger sister and Sakuya-chan started to back Pii-chan up. That’s right, the ones that came over were the Seacats that had previously been turned into familiars and as soon as they discovered us, they immediately initiated a mock battle.

「Don’t lose! Pii-chan!」

「Over there! Go!」

Realizing that there were no problems, everyone helped Pii-chan. I understood that since we were always with Pii-chan, we wanted to help it, but the Seacats were my familiars as well, so they would be pitiful if we didn’t help them.

「Do your best~」「Go~」「Don’t lose~」

As I was thinking this, the sound of children’s voices could be heard coming from afar. Looking towards the sound, the children that we’ve met before were running while yelling towards the sky. It seems that the children got along well with the Seacats, and noticing that the Seacats’ opponent was Pii-chan, they came to help. They remembered the battle from before.

Pyui—-!

Woof!

The result of the match was Pii-chan just barely winning. The previous majority battle that it lost was dizzying, but it, somehow or another, won and Queen seemed satisfied as well. This was also probably thanks to Queen’s training. As expected, there was no way that it wasn’t injured, so using magic and potions, I healed it and Pii-chan and the others took off again.

「Welcome hom~e.」

「Welcome back~.」

Pii-chan and the others flying into the sky once more, the children who helped the Seacats ran over and clung onto the wolves. At the beginning, perhaps they thought that it would just be Queen and the wolf cubs, as they were bewildered by the number of wolves, but they were similar to Queen and the others, so realizing that they were Queen’s companions, they threw their arms around them, including Queen.

The production groups and the adventurer group who came with us realized immediately that the children who were embracing them were the children from the new orphanage  and they were no longer reserved. The children who I hadn’t seen in a while, including those in the vicinity, had gained more weight and looked healthier than when we first met.

「Welcome back~.」

「Welcome hom~e.」

「It’s been a while~.」

「We’re back?」

「We’re home-!」

「How have you been!?」

The children who were drying the fish noticed us as well and greeted us. For those who live here, it was fine to sayWelcome back, but I was puzzled by their greetings because the people in our group were all people who had come here for the first time, but as expected, it felt good to be greeted like family.
